Redeeming Love Home: A Staff Member's Story

“My search for identity began early as I was born into a family of six children.
As one of a set of triplet girls, I hungered for attention—from my parents and ultimately from men. At fifteen, I became involved with an older man. It was a relationship marked by abuse, drugs, and alcohol. After 10 years in this relationship, he was sent to prison and I was desperate for something to fill the void and to relieve the pain. In 1998, my father checked me into a treatment center where I learned about Christ and His promise of forgiveness, but I was not ready to completely surrender my life. It would be another two years before I would find myself back in the depths of despair. The pain was so severe that suicide often seemed the only solution...but God intervened.
On December 3, 2000, I gave myself completely to Christ and experienced His forgiveness for my sins and the power to forgive those who had wounded me. It is now my great passion and joy to come alongside other women on their journey so I can encourage and challenge them to experience the redeeming love of the Savior.”
This story and the videos below are just a few of the many lives that have been transformed through this program. The details of your situation might be different, but the hope of redemption and the path to restoration is the same—a complete surrender to Jesus Christ.
