The Premarital Ministry seeks to make disciples of couples preparing for a life long marriage relationship. We have classes available at various campuses and online. Classes are a prerequisite for couples planning on getting married at Calvary or having one of our ministers or pastors officiate at the wedding.
Premarital Classes:
These classes are a prerequisite for getting married at Calvary Chapel or using one of our pastors for an off-site wedding. The class is held six times a year at the Fort Lauderdale Campus and periodically at our Boca and Plantation Campus. Please call the Boca or Plantation Campus for the next scheduled class start.
Please keep in mind that we as a church take very seriously the premarital process which includes classes, group discussion and counseling.
Any couple entering into premarital that has already set a specific date for their wedding is not a guaranteed that we can accommodate you for that date.
Each couple must successfully complete the class and be approved by their counselor in order for us to post a date on our wedding calendar.
We share our heart with you on this matter in an effort to prepare couples for what we pray would be a life long relationship in Christ.
If couples are cohabitating and are not legally married, we will not be able to officiate their wedding. However, if a couple desires to proceed with the premarital process and take the classes at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, they are more than welcome to do so. We would also come alongside those willing to move back under God’s covering of protection and blessing. Call us at 954-905-5122 if you have further questions about this.
