The Accounting Department supports Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale’s ministries by paying invoices; collecting tithes, offerings, and tuition; and preparing financial statements to help the pastors make wise stewardship decisions.
- Accurately record tithes and offerings and report them to church contributors
- Pay all financial obligations of the church
- Collect all tuition payments for Calvary Christian Academy
- Process payroll for the church and school
- Verify that accounting rules and regulations are followed
- Ensure that all church transactions are above reproach
- Oversee an annual audit of the church with outside auditors
- Process all internal and external mail for the church
- Purchase supplies and curriculum for the church and school
