Kathy's "It's a Free Gift" Story

This note about the "It's a Free Gift" Christmas Outreach came in this week to .
Last month I gave the Christmas Bible to a friend I work with. His name is Steve. Because we were at work when I gave Steve the Bible, I only had a brief moment to show him what was in the box. I made sure I highlighted John 3:16 for him. He said it was the best gift because no one ever gave him a Bible before.
I trusted and believed God would work Steve's life.
Steve has been having some challenging health issues. He called to tell me he is scheduled for surgery and has to have a mass removed from his lung. I asked him if I could visit to pray with him before surgery. He said he would appreciate the prayer. He also told me he had been reading the Bible with his cousin.
I prayed to God for divine intervention before leaving my home.
During my visit, I asked Steve to read John 3:16. After some discussion and questions, I lead Steve and his cousin both in prayer to receive the free gift of eternal life! Afterwards, I learned that Steve is Jewish! God's timing is awesome because I was at church the following Wednesday night to listen to Samuel Smadja speak about sharing Jesus the Jewish Messiah.
