WHAT'S YOUR BEST TRICK? RAMP 48+ is the skate park ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. Our purpose is simply stated in Matthew 5:16 (NKJV).
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” For a skater, stepping into Ramp 48+ is like stepping into a little bit of heaven. When you walk in the door, you'll notice that something is different about this park. The skate park has a well-stocked pro shop that includes a music section (complete with listening station), a mini-park for the groms, and a main park that is constantly being re-invented by the 48 crew. Still, the real beauty of Ramp 48+ is that it was created by and is run by a team of Christians who love skateboarding and skaters alike, and use their gifts to build a fun place to skate and grow. There is something for everyone regardless of style or ability
—or choice of wheels. (Yes, in-line skaters are welcome too.)
Ramp 48+ wants to glorify God through every aspect of the park. We offer an amazing Tuesday night Bible study at 7pm that is skater focused and open to all ages, parents included. Skaters can skate free after the study. Free skate lessons, hosted by our team, are open to all on Saturdays at 9:30am. We frequently host pro demos, contests, skate mission trips, day trips and other events.
Don’t have a board! Ramp 48+ rents skateboards, helmets, and pads. A waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian in front of staff or notarized for your first visit. Skate helmets are required.
