For the single parents of our church, this ministry has become an oasis of opportunities for fellowship, recreational activities, and teachings aimed at raising children in a single-parent home as they seek to nurture godly character in their children.
This class helps single parents deal with the issues and challenges they face as they raise their children. The group meets every third Saturday of the month, from 8:30–10:30am, in Meeting Room 2, with guest speakers addressing various topics.
Four times a year, we have various activities designed for parents and kids.
Single parents have the opportunity to gather for monthly dinners and also participate in weekly Bible studies.
We have two discipleship homes for single parents. These homes offer single parents needed time to save money so they can get or share a place with another single. This program requires single parents to receive budget counseling, take parenting classes, and have devotions with their children.
