Why are we doing this? 

The new Kid’s Check In system was designed to make the experience of checking your children in to Children’s Ministry as simple and efficient as possible.  It provides us an additional measure of security for your children as well.

Do I have to use the system to check in? 

No.  We want you in church.  If you have some objection to using the system, let us know and we will make accommodations.  Please understand that our desire is to make your experience at church as pleasant as possible.  That desire lead us to create this system.

Why doesn’t my number come up?

·         We do not have your information in our database.  Fill out an Information Card or give us your information on our web site (Click Here to enter your information) and we will make every effort to have your information in our database by the following week.

·         You may be using the wrong number.  Did you give us your cell phone or your spouse’s number instead?

·         If you already gave us your info, please give us an extra week and try it again.  If you are still not in the system please fill out another Information Card or give us your data online and indicate that you are not coming up in the system.

·         We incorrectly entered your info into our database.  Mistakes happen.  Fill out an Info Card again or Enter your information online and we will check it.

Why don’t all of my children show up?

The information in our database is not complete.  The quickest way for us to correct our data is to have you fill out an Information Card again or Enter your information and indicate what information is missing.

My children come up in the wrong class?

What are you going to do with my information? 

The information you provide us is confidential and is not shared outside of the church. 

Can I check my children in for multiple services?

Yes.  After checking in for the first time, re-enter your phone number and you can select another service.

Ooops, I goofed and checked in for the wrong service?

No problem.  We do not have a check out function however.  Simply enter your phone number again and check your children into the correct service.

The system says my children are already checked in?

This can happen for a couple of reasons:

• Someone did not pay attention and used your number to accidentally check in your children.
• Someone else checked your children in for you.  You may only check in a child once per service.
• If your child is with you and you did not check them in, please see a volunteer for name tag.

I brought a friend.  How do I check them in?

Check your children in as normal.  When you get to the confirmation screen, you may select ‘Add A Friend’.  You can type their name in and their name tag will print out along with yours.  It will have your family receipt code on it.

I lost my receipt?

Please see your classroom teacher.  They may ask you to verify your initials or provide picture identification.

I lost my child’s name tag or classroom label?

Please see the classroom check in volunteer.  They will provide you with a temporary name tag.

I have someone else’s child with me.  Can I check them in?

Yes.  You may either choose to enter them through the ‘Add A Friend’ screen or you can have them enter their own phone number and check themselves in. 

Can my child check themselves in?

Yes, they may check themselves in on the computer and print their labels without parental supervision (please ensure your child is familiar with the process first).  However, a parent or guardian must be physically present when checking your child into or out of the classroom.  The parent receipt is required

Can I check in at any station?

Yes.  Stations are not tied to particular grades or classes.

Can I check in from home?

No.  For security purposes, we require you to use one of the church’s Check In stations.

What does the code on the labels stand for?

It is a random code generated each time a family checks in.  There are over 100,000 possible codes.

What if I want to put my children in a different grade?

No problem.  Simply alert the check in volunteer when you drop your child off.

Why did my 2 year old get 2 name tags?

Nursery through 2 year old children automatically get 2 name tags printed at check in.  The second name tag can be used for a diaper bag or juice cup. 

My labels did not print out or got jammed.  What do I do?

Please alert a volunteer.  They will provide you a temporary name tag and receipt.

I don’t like the idea of being “tracked”.

The information collected is strictly used for church purposes.  The system was designed to enhance your family’s experience at church by making check in easier and less time consuming.  We don’t like to see you wait in lines any more than you like waiting in them.

I get a message “There Are Currently No Services Available for Check In”.

Check In’s are programmed for certain time frames.  You are probably trying to check in before or after the defined time window for that particular service.  Please wait for a few minutes or see a check in volunteer.

I get a message that says “Oooops! …” 

This occurs when you have not selected anyone to check in.  In other words you deselected all of your children.  Your children will automatically come up ready to check in.  You should only press their names if you are NOT going to be checking them in.
